I met Tamara Simon at the 2016 VELG conference and she had some great ideas about RTO Business Management. She recently published this article on the role of policies in RTOs, and in general. Take a look:
ish onCourse provides student management software solutions to Australian and overseas colleges of all shapes and sizes, including meeting the recording and reporting requirements of Australian RTO’s (Registered Training Organisations). Many of our customers offer all year round enrolment and training. With onCourse you can schedule and market new classes within minutes so you to can offer the just-in-time training solutions your learning community requires.
onCourse’s CRM functionality leverages your valuable customer and lead data with integrated marketing tools. The latest offering from ish is a mobile ready learning portal for students and tutors. After enrolment, all students automatically have access to class communication tools, timetables and maps to class venues. Tutors can also mark rolls and confirm their availability for upcoming classes. Post training, anonymous feedback can be provided with all student-tutor communication accessible from the onCourse management platform.
a comprehensive enrolment and marketing system
Efficient enrolment processing is at the heart of the onCourse enrolment system. With a single process for bookings, invoicing, payments and confirmations via your website or through your office, wrangling students has never been easier.
With built in email and SMS letting your clients know about upcoming programs based on their course preferences or previous enrolments is a snap. Your enticing content rich website descriptions will entice them to enrol on the spot.
Scheduling programs, allocating rooms and tutors, avoiding double bookings and external scheduling conflicts… all of these tasks are the bane of your program manager’s life. Make their day a whole lot easier and get rid of those complicated spreadsheets.
Do you also need to make sure you meet the compliance requirements of the AQTF 2010 and report your AVETMISS training data? Relax, onCourse has got your back with customised state based reporting tools and integrated training.gov.au data.
From 1 January 2017, all training providers will be required to collect USI details, including the training organisations delivering single day training courses. Any training delivered after 1 January 2017 issuing a VET qualification or VET Statement of Attainment, will be required to collect a USI.
onCourse subscribers have access to the onCourse student portal, which allows the student to find or create their USI and add it to their onCourse records. Once the USI is entered, onCourse will automatically verify the USI.
Seasons Greetings! Not the Holiday Season, which is fast approaching, but rather, the yearly trial (and error) that is the VET Reporting Season.
For those delivering VET Training, this means Total VET Activity Reporting . For some, it might be reporting for funded training programs like CSO. Everyone, it means frustration, confusion, and long hours put in to meet what seems to be an impossible deadline.
